  1. Initial Brief
An initial meeting on site allows us to get a feel for the garden. We then take a detailed brief on the practical requirements for the garden and how you want your garden to look in the long term.

  2. Survey
A full topographical survey is then undertaken. This forms the basis of all design work.

  3. Layout Design
A concept layout design is produced along with photographs, sketches and illustrations to help the client visualise their new garden.

On approval of the concept design, final scaled plans are produced with details of all the hard landscaping elements and any structural planting. These drawings will form the basis of fixing a budget for the project.

  4. Planting Design
Detailed planting plans are drawn up from the scaled plans taking into consideration the local conditions of the site as well as the preferences of the client.

On approval of the planting plans we are more than happy to source and select the necessary plants using our wide range of specialist nurseries. This way we are able to ensure the highest quality, shape, size and colour of the plants provided.

We oversee the delivery of plants and trees to the site and undertake the setting out of plants as well as much of the planting itself.

  5. Tender
A written specification of the project along with any associated construction drawings are drawn up and given to contractors tendering for the work with full copies of the scaled plans. We are happy to advise on the selection of the contractor to give the client the best and most efficient solution.

  6. Construction
On appointment of the contractor we would arrange further site meetings through the various stages of construction to ensure work is carried out to the highest professional standard and according to the specification of the garden design.

  7. Management
Once the garden is completed we are more than happy to continue to advise the client and help see the garden mature.
